What is the ADF2DADF Sorter For?
This PDF sorter is designed to help users who have scanners with ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) but without DADF (Duplex Automatic Document Feeder) functionality. These scanners can only scan one side of a document at a time. As a result, users often scan all the front sides of their documents first, then flip the stack to scan all the back sides. This process leads to a PDF where the first half contains all the front sides and the second half contains all the back sides, but in reverse order.
For example, if you scan 20 sheets of paper, you end up with a 40-page PDF. The first 20 pages are the front sides, and the last 20 pages are the reverse sides in reverse order. The correct order for reading would be: 1, 40, 2, 39, 3, 38, ..., 20, 21.
This tool rearranges the pages in the correct sequence, so you don't have to manually reorganize them. It makes the process seamless and efficient, ensuring that your PDF document is immediately ready for use in its proper format.
